  • Trivia

  • Quotes

    • Nick: I swear, if I didn't know better, I'd say it seems like maybe Audrey plans to shoot somebody.
Heath: Yeah. Who do you suppose she's going to shoot?
      Nick: No idea.
Heath: Think it's anybody we know?
Nick: I think we'd better find out.

    • Nick: I guess you think I should do something with these people.
      Silas: I didn't say that.
Nick: Silas, if you say to me, "Mr. Nick, your father would have done such-n-such and such-n-such," I'm going to take you and that dust rag and throw you both right out the window.
Silas: Go ahead. It's your window.

    • Callahan: (referring to his niece) Would you be good enough to show Sharon where to find the lamb's quarters?
      Heath: I'd be glad to.
Callahan: She's a homely girl, but she has a lot of fine qualities. We have trouble finding young men to call on her.

  • Notes

    • This is the second episode that does not present its title at the beginning of the episode (the first one was 'The Odyssey of Jubal Tanner').

    • If you listen carefully, you can hear the voice of one of Disney's most famous villains when Mother Callahan speaks. Eleanor Audley, who plays the Irish matriarch in this episode, was the voice of Maleficent in Disney's Sleeping Beauty.

  • Allusions

    • The fight between Nick and Callahan is an allusion to the fight between an American and an Irishman, played by actors John Wayne and Victor McLaglen, in the classic movie The Quiet Man. When each man fell down in the fight, a bucket of water was thrown on the fallen man, including him saying, "Thanks!" just like in this episode's fight.
