  • Good-bye, Joelle!

Bob's team is finally able to get rid of the deadweight holding them back. After watching Joelle wander around the gym aimlessly and weigh-in with a zero loss, the teams vote their principles. When poor Carla later finds out the extent of her friendship with Joelle, it is sad but the audience hopes that she surrounds herself with more positive people.

Props to Bob's You've-Got-To-Be-Kidding-Me look when Joelle tries to tell everyone at the weigh-in that she has picked up her intensity.

Unfortunately, the weigh-in of the returning players took the first half-hour of the show, leaving no time for a Temptation this week (maybe keeping themselves from killing Joelle was the biggest temptation they could handle?).

I really hope they stop flashing back to Bob's and Carla's respective freakouts with Joelle, though. It's getting old.moreless
  • Poor, poor Carla. Her teammate was awful.

What can I say about Jolene? Is she the worst contestant in Biggest Loser history? She's certainly the worst I've ever seen. There have been people with nastier attitudes, but at least they were still dedicated to the show's theme of losing weight. I'm not surprised to find out that her and Carla are no longer friends. Good for Carla. Making new friends could even help her lose more weight. I hope she wins the at home challenge. I thought it was awesome to see the other teams write Jolene's name in very large lettering on the cards, with Carla's much smaller. Way to make a statement everyone! I liked seeing a new challenge in this episode. I'd already seen the previous 2 challenges in older seasons.moreless
