The Bill Tush Show was a ground-breaking show that had it all!! It had sketch comedy, interviews and musical guests, One of the regulars on the show was a young upstart named Jan Hooks, who went on to have a primary role on Saturday Night Live. Some of the recurring sketches were "Tammy Jean", where Jan Hooks played a knock-off of Tammy Faye Baker, and "Captain Space", a cross between Buck Rogers and "Pigs in Space" from THE MUPPET SHOW. The show also included "fake" commercials and guests. One of the early musical guests was The Vapors, who debuted their song "Turning Japanese" on TUSH. Darryl Rhoades was the "musical director" and appreared on the show intermittently. One of the better TUSH recurring sketches was "Late Night Bill" where Tush would emulate a Johnny Carson-type interview show. The Bill Tush Show is worthy of a watch, and I give it "two thumbs up!!!"moreless
