    I'd be happy to.

Recently the Bill has got a bit to soapie for me. It hasn't stopped me watching it though.

Very sad to see Jim go!

I don't know why you resent Australian episodes. They're just like British ones, only a few months behind.

I have been a fan of The Bill since the commencement of the first episode and doubt that I have missed more than half a dozen. I think I preferred the half hour complete story version rather than the present day format, however, I will accept whatever is going as most of the stories are quite believable and situations and interaction of staff at the station are pretty close to real life.
As a retired policeman of nearly 30 years service one aspect that does concern me is the way in which the PC's wear their helmets. P.C. LAnce Powell (Oto Uhiara) is a bad offender and P.C. Gabriel Kent (Todd Carty) is another. Way back in the early fifties when I started working the beat the first thing I was told was the correct way to wear the helmet.
Place the forefinger and index finger together and lay them sideways along the bridge of the nose. Bring the helmet forward until the peak is touching the fingers. This is the gap there should be at all times between the nose and the peak of the brim of the helmet. It should NEVER be worn pushed back on the head or tilted to either side. I am confident that P.C. Lance Powell will have more success and be more respected by the CIB once he gets the hang of the helmet
    Thank you for your time...........BK

Wow, I wonder why only certain characters get it wrong?

Yes, I am Australian, and I love the bill. I have watched the bill since it began. I loved the 2 half hour show format, but I have stuck with it through the "soapy" times, and I think it has picked up lately with better plots. The all time lowest ebb for me was during the "Rosie and Eddie" episodes. My favourite characters are Gina Gold, Smithy, Jack Meadows, and Ramani.

I wish i could have seen it from the beginning, but i have watched it since i was 8!!! which is pretty young, considering how old i am now! I really want the dvds, but cant get them in oz yet.. when my rellies come out from UK they are bringing em for me!!! yay!!! i cant wait to see the original pilot episode!
From the older eps that i have seen, i liked Liz Rawton... she was different for me. i admired her i think because she had to put up with that stalker person who held her hostage and tied her up to the bed that was covered in roses? or some strange thing like that. I think she was a DI... Hmm cant remember what else. Feel free to correct me-my memory isnt too reliable at the best of times...

what about the last episode.. it was really good. i think it didnt focus enough on okaro and his tragedy, but too much on Suzie. God, i thought she was going to bash neil over the head if she didnt get her way...

but other than that i felt so sorry for Gina. I dnt know why i just did & Still do...
