"Doomsday is Tomorrow" parts 1 and 2 are "The Bionic Woman" at its most exciting and adventurous. The anti Nuclear arms/sentient computer plotline is still riveting and timely 30 years later. Wagner is stellar as Jaime Sommers in perhaps her most challenging storyline of the series. Accomplished British actor Lew Ayres guests as the man behind the plot to force the World leaders into nuclear disarmament. Along for the ride (and the real villain of the episode) is Alex 7000, a sentient HAL-inspired computer brain. Good locations, stock footage and special effects add to the realism of the episodes. Only gripes: painfully bad foreign accents abound throughout and some of the military flight scenes drag on a bit too long.
