The Black Donnellys - The Complete Series will be released on September 4th and is said to include at least 12 episodes including the pilot, and probably will include the webisode not aired on TV. Extras include deleted scenes.

I was so excited to wake up to this news this morning! I guess the "september" rumors were true. I just don't want to wait that long for it! I want it now! Hahahaha. I hope DVD sales are amazingly high. So we gotta spread the word about the release and about the show to get more people to buy it.

Check out this link. Amazon is selling the DVD for $34.99 and! There's a FREE super saver promotion going on.. dunno how long that will last, but shipping is free! I pre-ordered mines. It's a much better price.

It would be awesome if the show could be brought back based on dvd sales, just like family guy, but it would take a whole lot of sales

It is a good idea to pre-order now at Amazon.com because the DVD is at a reduced cost $34.99 versus $49.99 published. If you wait until it comes out in the stores, it may be $49.99. We need to move TBD into the top DVD sales!

Also, if you pre-order please leave a comment. This will encourage others to check it out!!

On another note, we have a huge campaign going on! Visit www.savetheblackdonnellys.net to see what we are doing andcomechat with us and give us your ideas at www.thefirecrackerlounge.com

    See you there!

Actually it was More Family Guys fantastic ratings on Cartoon Network that got fox to bring back that show, but the DVD sales didn't hurt. I wish some basic cable outlet would re run TBD. Hint Hint USA, Spike, or Bravo.

I just rewatched the whole series on DVD and it's still such a damn shame that they cancelled it. I wish there had been more special features on the dvd release though. Some commentaries would've been nice to get more insight from the creators/writers since they would have known the show was cancelled at the time of doing the commentaries so they could've told us what the series could've ended like.
