From Central Park in New York City, Bob Hope celebrates his 25th Anniversary on NBC. Bob Hope's guests are Jackie Gleason, Carol Channing, Glen Campbell, Chaka Khan & Rufus and Miss America, Shirley Cothran. Also with Les Brown and His Band of Renown. Highlights: Glen Campbell sings "Bonaparte's Retreat". Bob and Jackie do Noel Coward's tongue-in-cheek "Why Must the Show Go On?" Bob and Jackie play a pair of vice cops who dress as women.
