Bob is being bothered by a producer of the PBS show "Psychology In Action." He refuses to return his calls. We find out that "Psychology in Action" shows therapy sessions on stage for a full-hour.
Bob believes that the group and the people in the group are very private. However, when Carol spills the beans about the group not getting to be on television, the group tells Bob they are very upset at him. Each person loves the idea of being on Television. So Bob arranges for the group to appear on the television.
Bob is prepared and the group is not. No one wants to open up and even Michelle doesn't want to address the problems with her father: instead of saying how upset she is at her father, she tells the viewers that her father is a great man. Bob ends up having to adlib for the full 60 minutes.
In the next session, the group thank Bob for speaking for all of them. While they were excited by appearing on the show, they ask Bob how he feels about the appearance: "Fine." "You care to explain?" "No."
Title probably comes from the Film: "The Last Picture Show." This surely would be Bob's last TV Show.
