Jasmines voice completely changed did it not?

Sounds much worse IMO, doenst fit her character. Maybe thats why they havnt shown toms family much this season.

since TV.com episode guide doesn't know what episode of The Boondocks jsut aired, this is gonna serve as my summary/review of the episode for now:

Riley decides to make money by creating his own fake Fundraiser. Having watched every single gangster movie ever made, Riley knows exactly what not to do and is confident his plan will succeed - Even tho he's scared of Huey spoiling the ending of the plan, which Huey assures him the end will be "really bad." When Huey handed Riley the bullet-proof vest I knew this episode was gonna be special and it did not disappoint. Riley's truely ingenious plan had him and the kids of woodcrest making mad bank by selling expensive-ass chocolate bars, although Jasmine was confused about how lining their pockets was gonna "keep animals off drugs and guns." Riley buys Granddad a car that turns into a boat and then back into a car. Things are looking up for Young Reezy's Fun-Raiser.

Until the chocolate company that originally sponsored the school comes back into the picture wanting their territory back. This choco-mafia is like the gangs in british director Guy Richie's crime capers down to every last bit of dialogue ("as far as you're concerned, I'm Willy-f**king-Wonka, and you just took a s**t in my f**king chocolate factory.") They demand Riley turn his clients over to him and they'll give give him an allowance of 10%. This doesn't sit well with Riley, and he delivers the greatest F-bomb monologue ever. This rant had me laughing so hard I was crying. I had to back it up several times just to catch all of it. Then the s**t hits the fan when the italian-mafia busts in and takes over the racket because the usual crime they commit isn't making them money. seconds later, a SWAT team drops in and the bullets go flying. The bullet-proof vest ends up saving Riley's life, but loses all the money when Jasmine donates it to PETA ("Why didn't you tell me Jasmine was gonna give away the money?!")

10/10 and third best episode of the season so far. Right behind "The Red Ball" and "The Hateocracy"

    "Scarface suite"

    I love The Boondocks

It's getting better this season so far this one was the best of the season. The violence being ramped up this year is great and Riley's f you speech was priceless. McGruder is a gangster film fan as well with Scarface, Casino, and Good fellas being paid tribute to this time around.

    Huey, genre-savvy as usual.

    Riley, genre-blind as usual.

This proves that Riley is completely and willfullygenre-blind. I mean, at best (Goodfellas) you end up in jail. At worst, you end up dead. Of course, even when he tries to avoid the obvious pitfalls with a little fund-raiser, he still gets caught in it. Much like Oedipus.
