First off I want to say, and those of who disagree with me well that's your opinion, this is by far the best episode this season. While I thought the "Stop Snitchin" episode had it's great moments on explaining the snitching policy, this episode parodies the rapping label in general and their associated acts/gangsters. While Tupac and Biggie Smalls could be considered rapping legends as well real gangsters in general, the regular rappers that come through these days are more acts than gangsters. So is the case for the character Thugnificent and his crew in this episode. Don't believe me? Look at the examples. In one scene, when Riley first asks to join the crew, Thugnificent takes offense and says the crew are brothers and have known each other forever, but then adds expect for two guys who joined that came through the label last year. Also at the end, after Riley's crew medallion is stolen by a bully, one of the crew can't even get it back, after he is hit in the leg with a baseball bat by Butch the bully. The bully being annoyed gives the medallion back saying it's worthless. Overall of course the message here is really the fact, that it's not worth one's time to join a gang, or to go out of your way to get something back that may not even be worth the trouble. On a last note, I also remembered the writers did this same kind of rapper/gangster parody with the character Gangstalicious, who was more of a coward than a real gangster. Personally I am not one to judge about real gangsters, but how they parody it in this episode is not something to miss.moreless
  • WHORE BELLS!!

This episode is is like my 2nd favorite episode right next to stinkmeanor of the Boondocks season 2. This had so many memorable quotes from Thugnificant, my favorite being "Whore bells". And then when that guy said they was going to work at "Wendy's", You know extra ketchup, and fries. And then when the dude said to riley, You could get some girls over hear and get them bucket-naked. Then theres Riley: Aye! B!TCH Magnis! Butch: What did you called me? Riley: i called you a b!tch cause you's a b!tch, what you thought i wasn't gonna come see you. You thought you wasn't gonna get the taste smacked out of yo mouth for trying to jack Young Reezy, you better fall back n!gg@! And then Riley gets his @ss whopped. Great! This episode was hilarios! i loved riley fighting Butch. And I love Metephor the Great raps. Great episode Aaron mcGruder. Hilarious episode.moreless
