  • Uncle Ruckus takes a DNA test to determine his ancestry, and is given his own reality show on BET. Viewers get an inside look at BET TV, learn what the acronym BET really stands for, and what its true mission is.

Spoiler alert. The gem of this episode is the peek inside the creative offices of BET, Black Evil Television. In keeping with its mission of warping the minds and destroying the self-esteem of young blacks, BET gives Uncle Ruckus his own reality show, with predictable results.

But when neighbor Tom Dubois gets a DNA test revealing some of his European ancestry, Uncle Ruckus does the same. Ruckus discovers to his horror that he has 102% African ancestry with a 2% margin of error. Reflecting on this turn of events, Ruckus plunges into a suicidal depression, from which Grandpa has to try to rescue him.
  • Uncle Ruckus is given is own reality show by BET.

Here is another episode that was banned from American Television but put on the Season 2 Boondocks DVD, for unknown reasons. This episode is a funny one however. Never before have I seen such a racially stupid man such as Uncle Ruckus, whose views on the black culture are so out of whack, it's more funny and pathetic then it is truthful. Here is a man who believes himself to be white, even though he's almost as black as asphalt. But he has a reason, he's says he has the oppposite of what Micheal Jackson has, meaning his skin becomes blacker by the day. We know this isn't true. But he believes it until this episode when he gets a genetic test back telling him he's a hundred percent African American. But the true joke isn't over. Ruckus can't deal with the truth and still goes by his biast ways of what being a black man is. He quits his job and starts drinking, not because he is depressed but because that is what he believes black men do with their time. So the reality show goes on and we see it unfold, laughing at his stupidity. The episode I think could have gone further, but BET makes the genetic test people change their results for Ruckus, who seems on the brink of suicide. I like to believe I wouldn't be one of few who would want to see Ruckus keep dealing with the obvious truth.
