  • Unrealistic casting

    5.5
The storyline for The Border is great. However, casting is unrealistic. The same actors, in supporting roles, seem to be reappearing in different roles. For example, a doctor in one episode, appeared as a gunman and then father on another! Tell me there are no other ethnic actors to choose from?? This would essentially make it more realistic.

I am unsure who does the casting for this series, but they should be vigilant as it takes away something essential. Otherwise, the writing is fantastic. For a Canadian series, I give it a thumbs up and a rating of 7 out of 10. Why not 10 out of 10? The lead male actors don't cut it as their American counterparts. The new female officer is a great actor. Along with the computer geek, they make the show.moreless
