    "Superb"
Proberly one of the greater episodes of the series,it concerns Marcia trying hard to get Davy Jones (of The Monkees),to sing at her school dance.
Many things happen as she promises her friends, that she'll get him(presedent of the local Davy Jones Fan Clib).
Anyway, as the shows moves along as the normal Brady pace,Davy is a perfect guest star.
One of the better Marcia episodes. Well written.

    • In the final scene, Jan, Peter, Cindy, and Bobby sing the Davy Jones song "Girl" in the Brady living room and they are very loud and off-key. They obviously improve their talents considerably by the episodes "Dough Re Mi" (also Season 3) and "Amateur Nite" (Season 4). Edit
    • On "Pop-Up Brady" they counted at least 37 times that they said Davy Jones. Edit
  • Notes

    ADD NOTES
    • Nitpick: Since when do they have proms in Junior High, which is where Marcia is at the time of this episode. Edit
    • This episode ranked #37 on TV Guide's 1997 list of the "100 Greatest TV Episodes of All Time." Edit
    • When the idea to try to get Davy Jones for the prom comes up, one of the girls jokingly says that they should get the Beatles, the Carpenters and the Fifth Dimension as well. However, the Beatles had broken up the previous year. Edit
