Tired of being in Marcia's shadow, Jan is determined to do something that Marcia never did. However, Jan becomes more depressed when she fails to make the pom-pom team and her friend makes the squad.     Feeling overshadowed by other siblings? Well Jan Brady feels the same way with marcia. Jan enteres in a essay contest and when she is looking over the scoring sheet she notices that the score is incorrect due to a teachers mistake or typo error, jan had to find the guts to tell the truth..it is hard to do that alot of the times, if your feeling overshadowed by other siblings this episode is for you..the episode is just like alot of lives today with siblings feeling the pressure to act like older siblings , it was a fantastic episode.moreless

    • How could Jan say that she never won anything when we learn that Bobby was the only one without an award in the season 2 episode ,"The Winner?" Edit
    • Notice the scene where Jan is sitting next to her mother, and she raises her fists and says, "I'm tired of being in Marcia's shadow all the time!" Jan's red dress is so short that when she lifts her fists, you can see her underwear. Edit
    • All three of the girls had a triad line: Jan, with her renowned, "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!"; Marcia discovered that her missing awards were "Gone, gone, gone!"; and in the Coda, Cindy imitates Jan's lament with "Jan, Jan, Jan!" Edit
