  • Trivia

    ADD TRIVIA
    • This is the only episode we see Bobby in his underwear washing his good clothes. Edit
    • When Bobby stops the kid in the hall for chewing gum, the kid is reading a book. When it cuts back to Bobby and then back to the kid, he no longer has a book. Edit
    • In an interesting bit of continuity, Bobby washes his good clothes with an entire box of "Safe" Laundry Detergent - the same brand the family was asked to do a commercial for in the season 3 episode "And Now, A Word From Our Sponsor." Edit
  • Notes

    ADD NOTES
    • This episode is parodied in The Brady Bunch Movie. Edit
    • Barry Williams was under the influence of pot in one of the driveway scenes from this episode. It was his day off, but he was called in unexpectedly. Edit
    • Another well-constructed episode. Bobby trespasses and ruins his suit to save a cat. (Which, ironically and comically, saved itself AFTER he got dumped with dirt). He broke the rules, but he did it for the right reason, and he learned to temper his "justice" accordingly. Edit

    ADD QUOTES
    • Mike: (to Bobby) We always have to have rules and laws, but we have to use them with reason and justice. Edit
    • (Carol and Alice find Bobby in a sea of foam from the overflowing washing machine) Carol: What were you doing? Bobby: Washing my clothes. Alice: You're supposed to take your clothes off before you wash them! Edit
