  • Jan gets a locket. Jan loses a locket. Jan finds a locket. Boring!

Um, there was no time in this episode that made me want to laugh! This episode was so boring, I'd rather pull my hair out. So, Jan receives a locket in the mail with no sign of who gave it to her, so what? Jan loses the locket, no surprise, so what? (Oh yeah and I hated how she made suhc a big deal out of losing just a locket) Then she finds it after Greg's great idea of, um, whats it called? A reinactment of the crime, is that how you spell it? But anyway, she finds it because she remembers she wore it over to look at the stars and she finds it on a tree branch. Turns out Alice gave it to her because they have one thing in common. They were both middle childs.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • When Jan first opens the box containing the locket, a closeup is shown of the box opening. The box is opened facing the camera rather than toward Jan. Unless she thought something was going to jump out at her, there's no way she would open it so she couldn't see what was inside first.

  • QUOTES (1)

    • (During the re-enactment of the locket's disappearance; Bobby got back in bed)
Bobby: Can I spit out my toothpaste?
Greg: Why didn't you spit it out in the bathroom?
Bobby: You said we had to just what we did before. I didn't spit then now cause I didn't spit then. And you know somethin'?
      Greg: What?
Bobby: It's hard to talk with your mouth fulla toothpaste.

  • NOTES (4)

    • The exterior of the Brady home is prominently shown in this episode. The house used in the shot (and all future exterior shots) stands at 11222 Dilling Street in North Hollywood, CA. It was heavily re-landscaped in 1995, but eagle-eyed passersby can still identify it.

    • This is the last episode where Marcia wears pigtails.

    • This was one of the only times Alice mentions her siblings by name… "…I was born between Emily and Myrtle…Myrtle was the baby and Emily 'did the bossing'…!"

    • This was the last episode with The Peppermint Trolley Company singing the theme song.
