Greg, tired of the antics of his younger siblings, thinks he should have his own room. Mike allows Greg to turn his den into his own room. This also leads to Greg dressing a whole new way and talking a whole new way, including calling his parents by their first names.moreless

      • The senior girl Greg hits on in this episode is actress Julie Cobb, daughter of famous actor Lee J. Cobb. Generally a "bit" actress, she went on to regular roles in "The D.A." and "Charles in Charge". She was also married to two famous actors: Victor French, of "Little House on the Prairie" and "Highway to Heaven" fame, and James Cromwell, who played Archie Bunker's friend Stretch Cunningham on "All in the Family", and was later an Academy Award nominee for "L.A. Confidential". Cole and Cromwell seperated in 2006. Edit
      • In this episode Carol suggests that Greg could use the attic as a bedroom. Mike says "that would be great if Greg were two and a half feet tall." In the episode "A Room At The Top" Greg moves into the attic, which is much bigger. Edit
