Episode Summary

During a surfing competition, Greg wears Bobby's taboo idol and "wipes out". Soon after, Greg, Peter and Bobby learn of the ancient superstition from a construction worker, Mr. Hanalei. This leads the boys to search for an ancient burial ground to return the idol to break the curse. However, when they arrive at the burial ground, they are unaware of a shadowy figure trailing them.moreless

  • One after another, the kids, and Alice pass around Bobby's "good luck charm" and time after time, bad things happen.

    You've seen it all. Bobby barely missing a picture at nighttime. Alice with a back sprain. Greg gets pummeled by a tital wave. And yet still, they don't think the actual Tabu is bad luck. They don't even know it is Tabu. So when Greg is finally taken back to shore, Jan finds the "good luck charm" and puts it in her purse or bag or whatever. Then out of no where, a spider appears in that bag! WOW, talk about bad luck. Fortunately, the spider doesn't do anything to Jan. Unfortunately, when Peter shouts, "Bad luck, come and get me!" the spider crawls out of her bag, and into the boys' room! It gets on Peter, and he screams like crazy for Mike! Fortunately, he isn't hurt, but the kids have had enough. And if I were them, I would of had enough as well.

    So the boys tell the girls to say nothing to Mike and Carol while they will be going to some old burial grounds in like the middle of nowhere. (or the forest) Peter or Bobby even says, "The bus driver thought we were crazy when we told him to drop off us here!!!" But anything to get rid of that freakin' curse!!!moreless
