  • The closest the Bradys dealt with something controversial, smoking!

One of my personal favorites. It also marked the first time that Greg would play the electric guitar & sing, one season earlier before the siblings joined in on episode 64 (Dough Re Mi).

Though Barry Williams wrote that song, whoever thought that 24 years later Christopher Daniel Barnes would record that tune for the Brady Bunch Movie soundtrack!

This episode gets THE DAILY DOUBLE!!!

  • Trivia

    ADD TRIVIA
    • The pack of cigarettes that falls out of Greg's jacket pocket was labeled "Valiant Tobacco," which is also the name of the fictitious tobacco company at the center of a 1971, Norman Lear-directed movie, Cold Turkey. Edit
    • Barry Williams was a smoker in real life. He started when he was 12, smoked all the way to the show, but quit smoking in 1984. Edit
  • Notes

    ADD NOTES
    • Barry Williams actually smoked in real life when the show aired. Edit
    • Valiant Tobacco Company is a fictional name for cigarettes. Edit
    • When Tommy stops by to return Greg's jacket, he mentions that he's glad that his mom didn't find the cigarettes. Greg replied, "Well MY mom did!" Nothing was said about Mrs. Johnson being there when the cigs fell out of the jacket. However, minutes later after Tommy apologizes to the Bradys, Mrs. Johnson enters. Tommy then admits to his mom that the cigs that she thought were Greg's were actually his. How did he know that his mom saw Greg with the smokes? He knew nothing about the situation when he came over and his mother hadn't been brought up in the conversation with the Bradys. Edit
