  • The Bridges Show Cancelled! I am MAD! Only Three Shows, What a farce! Less Than One Month! Since upper case typing in reviews is 'Like shouting'!!! In order to say my piece, I went back and retyped it politely! Please read it in upper case!moreless

You have got to be kidding me!!!! They canceled The Bridges already? The first episode was aired July 10th (not on March 5th as on website listings). That is less than one month ago! I love TV and tape many, shows each night onto my two TIVOS! After watching the first two shows and

excitedly called my daughter to see if she had watched or taped it yet! She then told me that it was already cancelled and that she had deleted hers without watching them. Bring BRIDGES back or at least show all of the first season as planned!moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    • The characters of Harris and Carillo had not yet been named when this episode first aired. Kent Staines and Kevin Hare were only credited as "IA Investigator #1" and "IA Investigator #2."

    • The licence plates on the various vehicles do not indicate which American state or Canadian province the show is based in.

  • QUOTES (11)

    • Rose: I'm so sorry Frank. They said they would ruin my career, and that's my whole life.
Frank: But it's okay to ruin mine, huh? You know what? (Frank drops Rose's gun near her) Go ahead. Shoot yourself. You're dead to me.

    • Carillo: We don't give a damn if they're the right people or not, Frank.
Harris: You guys fired 68 rounds at that pickup.
Frank: It was a really big pickup.

    • Abby: Do you only go out with other cops, or do you date outside your religion?
Frank: Well, I don't usually date lawyers, that's for sure They make too much money.
Abby: Well, it's a good thing this isn't a date then. I have a boyfriend.

    • Frank: So, you go into private practice. You get six clients (snaps his fingers) like that.
Abby: Frank, look, I'm sorry. I'm just not that spontaneous.
Frank: Why not? What are you afraid you're going to catch on fire or something?
      Abby: Or something. Definitely.

    • Lee Murray: (after 68 rounds were fired into the cab of the pickup truck) Is my grandma okay?

    • Frank: We're not in it for ourselves; we're in it for each other! Maybe this time, they'll get the message!

    • Frank Leo: The Police Board has to learn that there's a difference between prosecution and persecution.

    • Bodanski: You know what to do, right?
Neil: Yeah. I'm gonna call IA and go "If you want to know who's doing the drug ripoffs, look at Frank Leo."
Bodanski: That's right. Because with this strike, the bastards will do anything to get him.
Neil: What do you got against this Frank Leo anyway?
Bodanski: Nothing, man. He's a good friend of mine.

    • Tommy: (to Frank) When did the union mean anything to you?

    • Frank: Everybody knows the situation with Billy and Darryl. Well, I just found out that this guy, Talley, is not gonna let it go. And he doesn't care if they get convicted in court or in public. Either way, their careers are getting screwed over, and I figure it's about time that we did something about it.

    • Bernie: Also, you'll see on your sheet there, that Alex and Jill here got the make, model and plate number of the pickup that killed two of our homeless. It's registered to Lee Gordon Murray. Mr. Murray has no priors, but consider him armed with a pickup and dangerous.
