At the beginning of this episode, Robert Shaw, as Dan Tempest – Ship Captain, and Seafaring Man – Accompanies himself on the guitar, as he sings Spanish Ladies, a song he also sings 19 years later, as Quint – Ship Captain and Seafaring Man – In Steven Spielberg's Jaws.

    • QUOTES (1)

      • Tempest:
(Singing, as he strums a guitar)
Farewell and adieu to you fair Spanish ladies,
Farewell and adieu, you ladies of Spain.
For we've received orders for to sail to old England,
And so, never more shall we see you again.

Shaw sings the same song, 19 years later, in 'Jaws', but with slightly different lyrics. Instead of 'Sail to old England', Quint sings 'Sail back to Boston'.
