Season 2 Episode 2

  1. In A Big Country by American Authors
  2. Some Like It Hot by The Power Station
  3. Oh Yeah by Yello
  4. Suddenly by Billy Ocean
  5. In a Big Country by Big Country
  6. Strickly Biz by Da Diggler & Labrinth
  7. Crazy No More by The Romeo
I must admit I have never heard of American Authors and The Romeos. I thought American Authors were a band make up by the writers of the show.

Apparently they are an American Indie Rock band based in New York but they were formed in 2006. That means they were probably kids in the 80s. Perhaps one of the writers wanted to promote them so they were transported back to the 80s. into this episode.

Season 2 Episode 3

  1. Only You by Yaz (known as Yazoo then)
  2. Slave to Love by Bryan Ferry
Season 2 Episode 4

  1. Should I Stay or Should I Go - The Clash
  2. If you love somebody set them free - Sting (so appropriate they played it in the scene)
  3. Road to Nowhere - Talking Heads
  4. King Of The Wild Feather - The Kats

We also saw Sebastian playing our favorite Super Mario on the TV way before we had Warcraft and those Facebook games. Simpler times.

Season 2 Episode 5

  1. Things Can Only Get Better - Howard Jones
  2. Rocky Mountain High - John Denver
  3. Bright Lights - The Outlets
  4. The Whole of the Moon by Mike Scott And The Waterboys
Season 2 Episode 6

1 The Safety Dance - Men Without Hats
2 Whip It - Devo
3 Careless Whisper - George Michael
4 The Safety Dance - Sleeping at Last (I find this version very nice too)

Season 2 Episode 7

  1. Would I Lie to You? by Eurythmics
  2. Just Cant Get Enough by Nouvelle Vague (Let me rediscover this nice French band)
  3. A Signal To The Heart by 1933
  4. Voices Carry by 'Til Tuesday

Episode 7 was my favorite for this season. I never really liked Sebastian (just another pretty face) but this week, he made many right choices and compare to their nasty weaver, he was a saint. I like that the show deal with something mature like rumors which even adults had hard time dealing with. Carrie and Sebastian got back together and now that their relationship is upped a level. I am totally but pleasantly surprised by Mouse. Again the show had done a good job for a teenage show. This was the year where mobile phones were huge and pager were the in-thing. I still remembered how proud I was to carry one even though I was in school - days of our youth...

I think she had miscarriage and the doctor said her chances of conceiving in the future is slim.

I was thinking they would have started the episode with "I heard a rumor by Bananarama but that song did not came out till 1987. Still I doubt they are following the exact timing of songs released as Nouvelle Vague was not an 80s band.

I figured it was named after the Bananarama song but yet they didn't play it.I don't care if they are perfectly accurate I would rather they play the songs that fit the show.
