The C.B. Bears

Show Summary

Hustle, Bump and Boogie work for Charlie "The Boss Woman." They drive around in an old garbage truck solving mysteries. This was an attempt by Hanna-Barbera Productions to take advantage of the CB radio craze of the 1970's. As with most Hanna-Barbera cartoons of the time other cartoons aired along with The C.B. Bears including Blast Off Buzzard, Heyyy It's the King, Posse Impossible, Shake Rattle and Roll and Undercover Elephant. (Of note: Posse Impossible was a spinoff of Hong Kong Phooey--the characters Stick, Blubber and Duke appeared in that show's final episode, "Comedy Cowboys.")

Another classic Another classic Hanna - Barbera cartoon that included episodes of The C.B. Bears, Blast Off Buzzard, Heyyy It's the King, Posse Impossible, Shake Rattle and Roll and Undercover Elephant. Hanna - Barbera were trying to cash in on the CB radio craze of the 1970's. These were all pretty good cartoons. It wasn't their best work but it was still good and funny. It was quite amazing with all of the ideas that they came up with over the years. Hustle, Bump and Boogie, the three bears of the main story were pretty decent characters. Undercover Elephant was probably the next best show of this group.moreless
