Show Summary

The Chevy Show was also known as Just Dinah then changed to The Dinah Shore Show. Sponsored by Chevrolet this twice weekly series(Tuesdays and Thursdays),a 15 minute program, aired for six years on NBC. Featuring her accompanist Ticker Freeman who often performed solos. Occasionally Dinah Shorehad guest stars who performed and chatted. The Vic Schoen Orchestra was with the show from 1951 to 1954 with vocal quintet The Notables (1951-1955). TheHarry Zimmerman Orchestra took over 1954 until the series end in 1957 with The Skylarksvocal groupfrom 1955 to 1957. Sponsored by Chevrolet, Dinah Shore was a hit.
