Episode Summary

EDIT
The Professionals
AIRED:
From Showtime: When a stalker throws a brick through Chris' window, his record company insists he hire a bodyguard at their expense. He's reluctant at first, but eventually he picks Brock Rudman, an intimidating and eminently qualified personal security expert. Brock cramps Chris' style and scares off his friends – Lisa Loeb is visibly disappointed, thinking Chris has succumbed to the worst temptations of being a celebrity – but that's not the only problem. It seams the hired muscle has a broken heart and it falls to Chris to find a way to heal it. Meanwhile, Anson is swept up in the paranoia and, since the record company won't pay for a bodyguard, he arms himself with a stun gun. And Yola, desperate to look her best for a Billboard magazine "Women in Music" feature, has a very bad hair day when she gets tangled in a romantic triangle with her favorite stylists, Maurice and Bridget.moreless

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • 1.  The biggest goof in this episode has to do with bodyguard Brock. Though he is, indeed, an imposing figure, he's hardly the security expert he should be. First
off, in the scene where Brock is found sleeping right outside Chris' bedroom, we also see that the door to the garage is open (as it usually is...) Wouldn't a guy, who's job is the safety of another, make sure that all doors and windows leading into the house are secured before
retiring for the night? Additionally, as Chris wanders into the kitchen after that scene, he finds a bag belonging to Brock on the counter… with another gun (possibly loaded?) sitting in plain sight, sticking out of the bag.

    • QUOTES (1)

      • Chris and Yola interviewing Brock for the job as Chris' bodyguard:

        Yola: "NYPD Anti-Terrorist Unit, wow."

        Chris: "That's like S.W.A.T., right?"

        Brock: "That's correct, sir."

Chris: "I know a little about that, 'cuz I was a Webelo."

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Chris: "I know a little about that, 'cuz I was a Webelo."

Forgive me if I don't have this exactly right...  But, according to http://www.scouting.org/, the home page for the Boy Scouts of America, "Webelos" is a Cub Scout program designed
for boys who've finished the third grade, or are 10 years of age.  It's the first transition step from Cub
Scout to Boy Scout within the organization.
