Wes is slightly out of date on his weaknesses: DC ditched Green Lantern's weakness to the color yellow a couple of years ago, at least with the Kyle Rayner version.
Grace: What is it about psychos that draws them to collage art?
Wes: That's weak. Aquaman could have done better than that. (makes little concentric head gestures) Beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep.
Wes: Don't even get me started talking about Iron Man. Iron Man's suit lost power so much you'd think he got electricity from California.

Astro City is a fairly popular and well-reviewed "reality" superhero comic written by Kurt Busiek and published by Image Comics.

Aquaman, DC Comics' King of the Seven Seas, gets very little respect, primarily due to the fact he was in the Super Friends series but really didn't do much and was overshadowed by the others. He also couldn't stay out of water for more than an hour, his power to control sea life never seemed to inspire much awe, and while he was strong he wasn't anywhere in Wonder Woman's or Superman's league. While he has been hyped up somewhat at the hands of writers like Peter David and Grant Morrison, DC decided to kill him off (at least temporarily) in their "Our World at War" storyarc in summer of '01.
