  • You read my stomach!

    8.0
A stronger episode than the Pilot for The Cleveland Show, though it did have its fair share of flaws. I thought some bits were pretty unnecessary, though the cutaways were much better this time around. I did think it was also a sweet episode. The Cleveland and Roberta story, NOT Cleveland running over the dog. That was one of the unnecessary bits, though they did manage to make it very funny. What this show needs to do is stay away from cliches. Meeting an old crush and getting married is a cliche. Running over a beloved pet is also a cliche. That's an issue that I hope they do not continue having, because it could lead to this show's demise. They need wacky, zany plots, like Family Guy and American Dad!. Not cliche after cliche.

A plot I enjoyed was Cleveland Jr. trying to fit in at his new school. He DOES make a good door. And I hate my high school not having doors on the stalls... ugh.... I want Cleveland Jr. at my school, lol.

I thought the rednecks eating the dog was... uncalled for. But, I did find the wife HILARIOUS. "You read my stomach!" will forever be a classic quote in my mind.moreless
  • Horrible horrible horrible!

    1.0
This has got to be the worst spin off show I have ever seen! I tried watching the second episode after suffering through the pilot, and no matter what I still wanted to blind and deaf half way through the show. I am thinking of getting rid of my television now. I can not believe this show has made it this far. I would rather watch anything take a dump than have to watch this crap. Worst show ever!!! I used to have faith in Seth Mcfarland but know I am rethinking that. I can only hope and dream that I never again see this horrific show. Or even one of it's commercials! I guess now we know how to torture terrorists make them watch this show, it would be a fate worse than death!moreless
  • An improvement over the pilot.

    7.5
The second episode of this Family Guy spin-off was an improvement on the first episode, but it still doesn't live up to the show it is based upon.

The storyline in this episode was better than in the first, but it was still pretty weak, for me.

After this episode, I dislike Roberta even more, but I still love the character of Tim the Bear.

I would've liked to have more funny moments in this episode, because it was pretty dull in that aspect.

To sum it up, I wouldn't recommend this show or this episode to anybody, but when there's nothing else on, it may be worth watching.

A fair episode, I hope it improves, though.moreless
  • Cleveland tries to win over his new kids. But instead killed the family dog twice.

    2.5
WHAT THE HELL?!?! I was actually hoping that The Cleveland Show's second episode would actually be good, but this episode was actually WORSE than the stupid pilot. Now I may be a little biased because i'm an animal lover, but I really hated this episode. I had no lol moments, I just smiled a little. The end of this episode reminded me of Full House, which I also hated. And who is the fourth guy at the bar? Now I don't know whats the deal with 8.17 million views, but I guess a lot of people like it. The fact that The Cleveland Show stole Family Guy's trait of flashbacks to get some laughs basically says that Seth MacFarlane is running out of good ideas.moreless
  • This show is starting to be just like Family Guy of something

    8.5
In this episode Cleveland is now happy of starting a new family but Roberta and Raulo don't like him a lot or something. Then Cleveland jr tries to fit in at his new school and then becames a door in the boys bath room. Then Raulo gets mad at Cleveland for killing his dog Meadowlark Lemon. If only he didn't went to go get cake or ice cream. Then Cleveland wants Roberta to go with him to the Daddy-Daughter Dinner Dance. Then after a while it turns out aright the Cleveland gets mad and teaches Cleveland jr to play baseball and this is a funny episodemoreless

    • Rallo: You can't just replace my dog like Brad Pitt replaced Jennifer Aniston, or John Mayer replaced Jennifer Aniston, or Vince Vaughn replaced Jennifer Aniston, or that munch from the Counting Crows repla-- The point is, my dog is not Jennifer Aniston.

    • Cleveland: Meadowlark Lemon!
      Rallo: Meadowlark Lemon!
Cleveland: Meadowlark Lemon! I don't think he's here.
Rallo: If we don't find him, I'm gonna start using drugs probably.
      Cleveland: Hmm, probably.

    • Cleveland: (sticking his head out of the sludge pond) Nothing. Well, not nothing, but no dog. Well, not no dog, but no Meadowlark Lemon.

    • Cleveland: So Rallo, how was your day?
Rallo: I pooped my pants at recess.
      Cleveland: We all have accidents.
Rallo: Oh, it wasn't no accident.

    • Cleveland: So, how was your first day of school Cleveland Junior?
Cleveland Jr.: Terrible. Worse than an ABC comedy.
Cleveland: Oh, I don't ever watch that mess.
