In the promo, Peter says that Cleveland and Cleveland Jr more to Virginia, but in the promotional still of Cleveland and his "Brady bunch family" there is no Cleveland Jr, some short Stewie like character and a stout fat kid. Where's Cleveland Jr?

um Maybe you should practice what you Preach and read the summary of the show. It says Donna has TWO kids and as you can tell their are THREE kids pictured. A young girl standing by Donna, a baby, and the fat kid. The fat has to be Cleveland Jr. Maybe he got depressed?

I believe they made Cleveland JR fat so that they can make Cleveland SR's new family an exact copy of the Griffins. The only thing they would be missing is if they owned a pet that can talk. Unfortunatly, they've already got the family of bears, but its still close enough.

that is cleveland jr.! if you go to wikipedia it'll tell you dat cleveland jr. is now fat to replace cris you see.

    Cleveland is Peter

    Donna is Lois

    Roberta [the daughter] is Meg

Rilo [the little kid] is Stewie

and Cleveland Jr. has now been turned fat to be Chris.

Thats stupid they should make some other type of family. They don't have to have the same features as the Griffin family.

yeah given the creator of the show has done nothing but copy his family guy character outline in creating american dad it's a safe bet that he'll do the same for this show as well and any other show he might create further down the line

Hardly no where in the discription of a spin off does it say that the show has to be exactly like that of the show that the spin off came from

dude, are you freakin' clueless or what. They're not EXACTLY the same but they are for the most part. Thats usually how a spin off is. Just look at other spinoffs for example the show Joey which was a spinoff of Friends. They weren't exactly the same but they had the same concept. Also NCIS is a spinoff of Jag. Same concept. Just not exactly the same.

I agree with you but stil...they could've done something new...Family Guy got alot of crap when they started for being a "copy" of The Simpsons, and now Cleveland Show? I think it might get twice the crap, but I believe I;'m still gonna love the spinoff.

If you watch the featured videos you'll see Seth McFarlene himself confirm that the fat kid is Cleveland Jr and it's because he got depressed and now he's fat and awkward. I wonder if he'll still have the same voice though or if it'll be tweaked a bit?
