  • Shoddy..

I guess at the point, looking over a broad range of time, both shows - Family Guy and Cleveland Show have produces absolutely horrible material. Family Guy, though in its low point, can pull off can occasional good one like this week's episode. But this show is generating garbage on a consistent basis.

There was nothing special here, except the usual offering that talks about Cleveland's Johnson, Ralo's uber-coolness, Roberta's partying, and some bear sex. I am not really sure whats running on the minds of writers, but I am sure seeing Cleveland horny for full 30 minutes makes me wanna throw up.

    Horrible.moreless
  • Although not great, this was by far the best episode of this rather dull spin-off.

I believe that 'The Cleveland Show' took a step in the right direction with this episode. This episode had a decent amount of comedy and a decent amount of laughs, while both storylines were quite interesting, in my opinion.

While not reaching the high platform of Family Guy, this was a very good episode, in my opinion, and by far one of the best episodes, if not the best, of this show, so far.

I enjoyed seeing a little more of Cleveland Jr. and Rallo in this episode and seeing their characters develop, as well as Tim and Ariana, the bear family!

Overall, I recommend this episode above all episodes so far, but still, not great, and not as good as Family Guy.moreless
  • Cleveland and Rallo have a battle of wills for man of the house and Cleveland looses. Cleveland Jr. and Roberta go on a field trip to Washington and the Bears are the chaperons. Cleveland Jr. ends up saving Roberta at a bar.moreless

To be honest I'm not sure why I am still watching this show. I guess because it falls between The Simpsons and Family Guy.

I actually find one or two things laugh out loud funny per episode, but unlike Family Guys quirky humor I find myself a little embarrassed for this show sometimes which then makes me feel uncomfortable watching it.

This week we have a very inappropriate battle for man of the house between Cleveland and Rallo. It was just sort of weird in general. In the end it seems that Rallo won which is even stranger. There is nothing funny about a little kid throwing himself down the stairs and breaking his leg to get attention.

The other part of the story was strange as well. It seems that we are destined to see Cleveland Jr. constantly try to win the approval of his new siblings. I believe this is a theme we have already dealt with a few times already.

Again one has to wonder if this is MacFarlane just filling up time in the two season schedule FOX has already ordered of this show or if he and the team that puts this on really means for this show to be this bad? Only time will tell. Thanks for reading...moreless
