  • Add two parents, one SWAT detail and a shootout, shake then stir for an awesome episode!!!

This show was fantastic. It was the perfect blend of humor and drama. Brenda's talk with the therapist about how nothing is going on with her expect for the fact that everything is going on was hilarious. Then to go right into being shot at was jaw dropping. The writers know how to lull you into thinking it was going to be a light show, because Brenda could not work any cases and then they turn her into a case. Chief Pope's reaction to Brenda's well being was a bit concerning, I like her and Fritz together and it looks like they are reopening their past personal relationship. The swat guys were the funniest people in this episode; the one guy feelings' being hurt was awesome. My favorite scene was everyone in the bedroom watching the tapes of the victim. The interactions between everyone were so funny. Brenda's parents were great. There needs to be more episodes with the dad, he is probably the only person in the world who could throw Fritz completely off kilter. I was on the edge of my seat during the scene on the elevator, I mean you knew the confession was coming but when she kept asking him why he would want to kill her you could see the conversation wasn't about him; it was about her. Brenda hates to feel vulnerable she uses her southern charm to appear vulnerable to get the information she wants but she cannot deal with being out of control.
  • Gabriels and Johnsons are shot at as they take a news reporter on a ride-along.

I like this show but i really am tired of it having brenda solve every crime alone. I mean this episode basically says that PHD is completely useless without her because if the whole department minus her could not get a confession then basically all the other guys are just errant boys waitin on her to tell them were to go what to look for and she does all the think deducing and solving of the crime.

I still dont like the way she doesnt listen to the proffesional opinion or indeed the professional duty of others. She acts like she is the only one who knows how the LAPD should be run. Finally i cant belive that she confranted the killer the way she did given the fact that she had just survived an attack by a seriel killer in the privious episode and an earlier shooting in the same episode, but wen she was almost raped earlier in the show she was shaking so bad and could not speak well.
  • Elevator confession

This episode was so exciting and fast paced as well. It seemed like one minute I was like yes the closer is coming on and then they were getting shot at and then it was Grr. commercials and then everything just zoomed by and Brenda was telling her parents that she and Fritz were engaged! It was so exciting to watch!

I loved Brenda's parents! It was so great to see her father joking with Fritz because he was like seriously afraid and that just made it so much better! I loved seeing Brenda's mother trying to get all the information out of Roy and Chad about the shooting. It was cute to see that Brenda didn't want her parents to worry about her and then Fritz coming to find out what had happened while she was in the shower and freaking out when she told him she'd been shot at was just brilliant. I loved seeing Provenza being in charge of the squad. It was great to see Brenda all ready to do the interviews and then realizing that she was not allowed to participate in the investigation. Pope was annoying though. I hated him and Brenda together well I just didn't like when they were together. He had to make it way too clear to her that she couldn't work and it was annoying because last week's she didn't get to get her confession and now she wasn't allowed to work. I just found Brenda having to sneak around to work annoying. I did love Brenda trying to get Gabriel to take her to the crime scene in the beginning. The confession in the elevator was awesome too!

I didn't really like Brenda with the Shrink at the beginning. Settings like that freak me out and it was so obvious that Brenda didn't want to be there.

This was a very amazing episode I liked that the guy that got killed wasn't really all that he appeared to be. And I liked that Chief Johnson wasn't really the one that the shooter wanted!
  • very, very long list of people who would want to kill Brenda...

So I loved the psychiatrist – she was just too stereotypical for words and for some reason that was funny to me. After all the rambling that Brenda did all she wrote was "daddy" and did not let her go back to work. Hello, daddy is Southern. But of course Brenda is not going to let some shrink stop her from doing her job, especially when she might have been the target of a shooting. Turns out they wanted her passenger and that makes Brenda jump into work mode even more. In the meantime her parents are visiting, with her daddy meeting Fritz for the first time and what a better way to spend family time together than under the careful watch of lockdown with the SWAT team.
