A great episode in that you knew the father and son were probably not guilty but you had to figure out why and who actually did it. Of course the wife of the victim would be the most obvious but they didn't really introduce you to her except for a minute in the beginning.

Bruce Davison is great as Russell Clark the father of James who is a schizophrenic. He was willing to go to jail to save his son from that fate. Unfortunately he did believe his son was capable of that violence. In this case he wasn't though.

Frances Sternhagen also guest stars as Brenda Leigh's Mom Willie Ray Johnson. You can see where Brenda Leigh gets her gumption and it is also obvious who wears the pants in her mothers marriage. Is Charlie really going to stay with her Aunt? It will be fun to see if she does. Sosie Bacon guest stars as Charlie.

I really enjoyed this episode and it was interesting how Brenda Leigh got Robin Milano played by Cynthia Watros to confess not only to murder but be able to pick up on the fact that it was premeditated. The next few episodes could be fun with Fritz and Brenda Leigh dealing with Charlie besides their usual relationship. Thanks for reading...moreless

    • Brenda: So, James, do you remember much about the day that Dr. Milano was murdered? James: Oh, yes. Not only do I remember things that happened I can also remember things that didn't happen. Edit
    • Brenda: So, James, I hear that you're fluent in three languages. James: One of the voices I hear speaks French. It's a little schizophrenic humor. I can make jokes, so people don't feel self-conscious about me. My father taught me that. Edit
    • (while Brenda is answering her phone) Willie Ray: Your Aunt Brenda is working. And she excused herself from the table. Charlie: It's okay. I'm used to adults making rules for me they don't live by themselves. Edit
