One boy is killed, one is seriously injured. Brenda and the team suspect the dead guy was not the target.
Another great episode of my favourite show. It had several interesting twists, first it's another drug case and then there's something more complicated. But I'd really like to ask if it's too much of Charlie? I know the actress is Kyra's daughter, but she is getting more more and screentime and I'd like to see more of our charming detectives. Especially sgt Gabriel and Flynn. As for me, the team and its interaction with Brenda is the most interesting part.moreless

Another excellent episode of The Closer. I don't think Brenda should have used her niece to get the information. Sometimes Brenda can't see the forest for the trees. She can be single minded and a little (or a lot) cruel.

It was an interesting turn of events how Jake started out as a bystander, became an assessory, then a possible suspect, then finally the victim. Everything pointed to a bungled drug deal but as things unfoled the other boy, DeLeon, really was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

It is amazing the pressure parents can put on their children in times like this. Vanessa was forced into lying to her father as he would not accept that his daughter was culpable in her own situation. In forcing her to lie setting off a chain of events that would take the lives of two young men and ruin the life of his own son and her brother.

Brenda did what she thought she had to to get the truth. It could have really backfired with Charlie. Charlie really had to grow up the few weeks she spent with her aunt and uncle. Maybe in the long run that's what was best. I do think it was the right thing for her to do at the end to pretend to be the boy's mother as she was not going to get there in time. Maybe she gave the boy some peace.

Another really good episode of an excellent drama. Thanks for reading...moreless
