The Closer Season 7 Episode 2

Capt. Raydor: Look, whether or not you like it, whether or not I like it, frankly, I have to finish this audit, which I means I need to speak to your people.
Brenda: No you don't. You're questioning my investigation and my orders. That audit should begin and end with me.
Capt. Raydor: But it won't.

Capt. Raydor: Sending your entire division on a city wide scavenger hunt in order to frustrate my investigation.
Brenda: Your investigation is going to be history the moment I brief Chief Pope.
Capt. Raydor: Well, I'd love to be a fly on the wall for that conversation. Make sure you let me know what Pope says.

Capt. Raydor: My relationship with Chief Johnson is already complicated.
Chief Pope: Yeah, well, you're the one that decided on a career in Internal Affairs. Look, I don't know exactly what happened that day, but obviously dropping Terrelle Baylor off in front of angry gang members was not Chief Johnson's finest hour.
Capt. Raydor: And insisting on immunity for a child killer was not yours.

Brenda: Professor Banks, uh, we have just finished arresting all those responsible for the murder of Ashley Reed.
Professor Alex Banks: All those responsible for the murder of Ashley Reed. Good for you. Of course, the real irony here is, if I had actually been having an affair with Ashley, if I walked her to the door and gone inside... she might still be alive.
Brenda: Well, that's the best justification for adultery I've heard in a long time.
