    When a PHD member's loved one is shot and killed, the entire team takes it up a notch to solve the crime before the team member does.

    Meanwhile, Brenda must tame her temper when her nemesis, reporter Ricardo Ramos, accuses the PHD of working only on high-profile cases.

    Brenda must decide how to handle a missing teen case when the evidence brings to light his tumultuous past. The deeper the PHD gets into the case, the more sinister is becomes, making everyone wonder if the potentially murdered boy may himself be a murderer.

Things quickly spiral out of control when the contract victim turns up dead and the evidence is stolen with Provenza's car.     The temperature is rising in Brenda's personal life as she and Fritz get under each other's skin while living temporarily in the close quarters of an apartment.
