This episode was awesome in every single way. I thought it was going to end up bad for Brenda but instead it went perfectly well. She finally got the bastard and help the kid who gave her exactly what she needed. I'm so gonna miss this show.

Episode was well thought as Brendas opus. Rusty hopefully gave Brenad a new view of life. Rusty was well acted. I am glad for a couple of epis I was worried they wanted to end Brenda badly. This was perfect to me

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Chief Johnson leaves the LAPD to work for the District Attorney as an investigator and takes Sgt. David Gabriel with her.

    • "Looks like Love" were the first words spoken by Brenda in the series Pilot. They were also the final words spoken by Brenda in the series finale.

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Brenda: Hello there, Rusty, I'm Deputy Chief Johnson. The LAPD just want to protect you from a very bad man.
Rusty Beck: Bad men are how I make a living. I hang out where all the bad men go. Bad men like to talk to me, and it doesn't hurt anybody to listen.
Brenda: Not so sure about that.

    • Brenda: And this boy (Rusty), there's something he said.
      Fritz: What?
      Brenda: Gonna be surprised.
      Fritz: Why?
Brenda: Made me think about my life.
      Fritz: I'm surprised.
      Brenda: Told you!
Fritz: (Fritz sits down next to her) What did Rusty say?
Brenda: Am, he said that ah, bad men were how he made a living and it doesn't hurt to just listen to them and that, am, his mother was gone and she wasn't coming back. And, am, I started to think about how sad that story was and then I realized that's me.
Fritz: You make your living listening to bad people and your mother's gone.
Brenda: (fighting back tears) And she's never coming back. But Stroh is; that's what I have to look forward to - Stroh coming back.
      Fritz: Where?
Brenda: Where the bad men go.

    • Capt. Raydor: While Stroh is a person of interest, I will sign off on Chief Johnson's investigation to cover the L.A.P.D.'s liability issues.
Pope: I can live with that. Chief Johnson?
Brenda: I came here to arrange surveillance of the suspect, not me. This is what comes of settling lawsuits putting my name on a special order. We have to worry more about what the suspect will do to us than what we're gonna do to the suspect. Didn't think of that, did you?
