This was a really great episode. I like The Clsoer for it's confessions and even though there weren;t a lot here it was an espectacular episode. It had a grat theme and some good acting. The twists were awesome and the cliffhangers even better. But my favorite part was the action in this episode. It was full of explosions, shots and violence, but well coreographed and organized that made it look beautiful. The final scene with the last guy was awesome. The slow motion take was perfect, I really liekd it, it fit so well with the situation, yet I can't believe Sanchez got shot. He better not die. All in all I loved the pisode, the fluidity, the acting, the action, the comedy, the suspence. All of it. This one will make history.moreless

I am literally still in shock from this episode. This is the exact reason why I fell in love with this show! It is the season finale and they sure know how to keep us in suspense. There is a plot going on to end evolution and the detectives of the newly named Major Crimes Division are all over it. The first discovery they make is a man who has pipe bombs all over his apartment and find he is dead. Turns out he is making homemade bombs and has an accomplice. The detectives race to find the guy who helped him, turns out he is an 18 year old high school student. They uncover this whole big plot to rid the world of people and their plan is to set off bombs to lure people outside to kill them, shoot them off. The kid they have in custody OD's on some anti-depression pills and chocolate and they are back to square one. Sgt. Gabriel comes up with an idea to recheck the home store and a sporting goods store where the guns were bought. They are both in the same mall. Brenda and Fritz, on the advice of the boy who turns out to be the shooter, tells them to go upstairs. When Brenda and Fritz get to the top of the stairs, Brenda sees the Double "E" from the drawing. The bombs aren't at the school, they are at the mall. While all this is happening, they realize that the boy ran to the roof and his plan was to start picking people off with his rifle. Det. Daniels tries to keep people in the mall, but a few people get out and are instantly killed. Detective Daniels does her best to shoot at the guy on top of the roof and has no luck hitting him. Meanwhile, Brenda, Fritz, Det. Sanchez, Sgt. Gabriel and Lt. Provenza are up on the roof, about to sneak up on the shooter. Brenda, Fritz and Flynn are on one side and Sanchez and Provenza sneak around on the other side. While Provenza is running (and he never runs) to another safe place, the shooter sees him and takes aim and fires. Sanchez sees this and rushes to the rescue of Provenza by blocking the bullet with his body. He takes three shots in the back. Brenda and Fritz and Flynn and Gabriel all rush to where the shooter is reloading his rifle and they shoot at the bag where the bombs are kept. They blow him and the bag to smithereens and Brenda and Sanchez get on the LAPD copter to save Sanchez's life.

A rocking season finale, can not wait until December's holiday episode!!moreless

I absolutely loved this episode. It was well-written and well-acted. It was intense but yet so funny. I especially loved Brenda in this. I loved the look on everyone's face when her face suddenly appeared on Babs' TV screen and they realized she had snuck past everyone and back into the bomber's apartment. I couldn't stop laughing when she got carried down the stairs like a sack of potatoes for the second time. After the apartment blew up, she was certainly more respectful of the poor bomb robot, Babs. I don't want to give the ending away but it was very intense. I loved the dialogue between Provenza and Sanchez at the end. This was a "must-see" episode. I can't wait for next season!moreless

  • THIS IS WHY I WATCH THIS SHOW!!!

I love this show. I cant get enough. This episode was just nerve racking almost from the beginning. I mean you know they are racing against time to find these killers and I was just on the edge of my seat. It ould go to commercial and I was biting my nails in suspense. Most of the time Provenza's clever quipps give some comic relief but not in this ep. And at the end when Sanchez taked the bullets for Provenza, I got teary, I really did. You knew sanchez had always respected Provenza, he always called him Sir when they spoke. I think Provenza showed real emotion when he realized what had happened. I cant wait for more eps.moreless

This is one of the reasons that I watch the show is that it is really great acting and really great writing. Combine it all together and you make for an awesome show IMHO! As the race against time to find killers that are making a time bomb. On others and on themselves. Provenzak, if that is how you spell his name. Does provide comic relief. But not in this one as this is one very emotional and nail-biting episode. Which we see Sanchez going out of his way. Taking the bullet for him. Provenzak shows that he is very grateful for his colleague. Risking his life for another!moreless
