I like them both equally. The Daily Show is more consistently funny, while the Colbert Report has one or two moments of pure genius per episode.

I rarely get to see Colbert so I have to go for The Daily Show:

    Colbert Report - 27
    Daily Show - 10

I still don't see the point of this thread. If you start a "show vs. show" thread, the home team is always going to win. A survey like this would only be fair in a neutral site (like the Comedy forum).

I've noticed that Colbert has seemed to have gotten funnier than The Daily Show.

I still think it's a toss-up; TDS has pretty much exhausted their election coverage, but Colbert's "persona" is starting to wear thin. On that note, I haven't really been watching either show much lately.

You messed up the count. DS had 14 as of #50, then you dropped it to 9. With my vote for Colbert the count is now:

    Daily Show 16
    Colbert Report 30

I love both shows and its hard to pick because they are two different kinds of funny. but I have been ok missing the daily show but I get kinda upset if I'm not back in time to watch Colbert Report so I have to go with the Report.

    Colbert Report 32
    Daily Show 16
