    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • "Farewellison" succeeds the long-standing "Purple-Mounted" as the last word in the opening credits, in honor of Allison Silverman's last day.

    • QUOTES (1)

      • Stephen: Tonight is our last show with my executive producer Allison Silverman, and her departure brings us to tonight's Word: Allison! Now folks, my feelings are complicated her, I'm both very sad and very furious that she's leaving. (Absence makes the rage grow fonder) And frankly I don't want to have a meltdown on camera. (That's Glenn Beck's job) So to feel better about it, I am choosing to have false memories that will make me glad she's leaving. For instance: I just remembered that Allison has an island where she hunts old people for sport. (Don't accept that "dinner invitation", Brokaw!) And Allison still says "wazzup!" (Watchoo talkin' 'bout, Stephen?) And once I lost 50 bucks to her over whether the word lutefisk was funny. (That one's actually true) There, I feel better now that Alison's a terrible person, ("You Lie!") because the only other option is that she's a great writer, a brilliant producer and a dear friend, and I don't know the word for that. (Allison!) And that's the Word.

    • NOTES (1)

      • For her last show, all credits were given to Allison Silverman. Her executive producer credit reads Lady Dr. Allison M. Silverman-Jones.
