      • Stephen: Anyway, for what it's worth I'd like to throw my supports to this grass roots effort by Fox News Corporation. I certainly hope that this occupation of the Alamo goes just as well as the last one.

      • Newt Gingrich (news clip): And this (tax tea parties) kind of sprang up almost unexpectedly over the last two months in a spontaneous effort around the country.
        Stephen: Newt Gingrich is right! It was really unexpected how these spontaneous grass roots political events that Sean Hannity is hosting in Atlanta, Greta van Susteren is hosting in DC and Neil Cavuto is hosting in Sacramento just sprang up without promotion from the media.

      • Stephen: Tonight: It's tax day, or as many American's call it: Oh my God! It's 11:30! Plus: I profile the Illinois district that contains Peoria. Hmm, I wonder if it will play there. And my guest, PBS' Jim Lehrer has written a spy novel. It's great, except for the middle chapter where it asks you for a contribution. Do not adjust your set, unless you want to make my face even redder. This is the Colbert Report.

      • {Video: Glenn Beck: I can now announce that we are going to have our program live from the only place in America where I think it really, really makes sense: The Alamo.}
        Stephen: Yes! That does really, really make sense. So few remember that the Boston Tea Party began when George Washington and his ragtag troop of Union soldiers holed up in the Alamo surrounded by Nazis. Luckily, before Napoleon could bring in his terminator reinforcements, Hannibal save the patriot army with his elite corps of elephant men. To this very day we still rally around the cry remember the Ewoks!
