  • Ken Burns makes a documentary of The Colbert Report.

The show opens with a teaser of content from the show, which involves everything from Prince Charles to Ben Burns.

Stephen starts off by talking about Ken Burns and how he dissed the South (Stephen is from South Carolina).

Stephen quickly transitions into tonight's "The Word", which is "Camilla-Mania". Camilla and Prince Charles has come to the United States, their first trip here since they married.

After "The Word," Stephen moved onto a segment where he had Tad, the building manager walk them through a building evacuation drill, per Stephen's manual.

Back from commercial, Stephen welcomes tonight's guest, Ken Burns. During the interview, they discussed how email will make it tougher to make documentaries in the future. Stephen also quizzed Ken Burns about the civil war. They then showed a funny little black and white documentary on that episode.

Returning from commercial, Stephen introduces a new segment, "Formidable Opponent" where Stephen debated Stephen on whether or not charities are all good.

The evacuation bit was a bit boring, but when Tad broke the other guy's neck, I laughed, as did the audience, but the rest of it wasn't interesting. The little documentary Ken Burns and those guys put together was pretty silly.
