Today was not worth watching.
Stephen covered the same news (mccainn ad) that Jon did.
The guest was uninteresting. He wasn't even taking on "branding" as a concept. He was just upset when things were improperly branded. Nascar romances, Stallone pudding, jello Reeboks. Plus as usual Stephen had to actually push a real brand.
If he was really just mocking product placement, he could do it without using actual brands.
And I know I'm old and not hip with the tunes of today-- but I've never even heard of the hipster looking band that played their "song" (aka repeating the same 4 words over and over).
