  • Stephen discusses the universe with Dr. Neil deGradde Tyson.

    9.0
The show opens with a teaser of content from the show, which involves everything from a outsourcing to Neil DeGrasse Tyson.

Stephen starts off by talking about his Wi-Fi networking problems at home. He played back an audio recording from the tech support.

Stephen then moved into tonight's word, "Perspective". This was all about the 2000 deaths in the war in Iraq. 2000 isn't as high as the number of deaths in most of the other major wars the U.S. has been involved in.

Returning from commercial, Stephen welcomes tonight's guest, Dr. Neil deGradde Tyson. Dr. Tyson tried to explain the Big Bang theory to Stephen, who thinks Intelligent Design is much simpler. Stephen then brings up the fact that Dr. Tyson has decided that Pluto isn't a planet, so he had him try to explain it.

Back from commercial, Stephen introduces another "Tip of the Hat/Wag of the Finger" segment. Laura Hutton gets a tip of the hat for having the guts to pose nude at her age. She then got a wag of the finger for posing nude at her age. Then a tip of the hat goes to Charlize Theron for her new movie. The next Wag of the finger goes to Mike Wallace, who is promoting his new book on NBC, and not CBS. Stephen shows off his own new book, and proceeds to read a sample from a chapter.

Stephen ends the show by asking people about things they care about in a new segment, "The Pulse". Stephen was asked several questions, including Stephen's favorite Jay-Z songs.

Another good show. I really liked the interview, both informative and comical.
