  • Steve Martin is interviewed.

    8.0
Political satire at its best with Stephen Colbert. Another insanely funny edition of the superior Comedy Central late night talk show. Steve Martin (Pink Panther 2, The Jerk) guested and outside of the usual entertaining interview mocked the Christian Bale meltdown.

Colbert brought back a favorite segment "Yehwah or No Way" and gave his feelings on whether or not Jesus intervened in the Super Bowl.

I am not able to catch every C Rep episode but I am definitely glad I tuned in for this one. Colbert just has a way of turning anything and everything into a hilarious one liner. Good show.moreless

    • Stephen: Tonight: Pope Benedict reinstates a Holocaust denying Bishop. Frankly, I'm skeptical of the evidence that he actually reinstated him. Then: I award myself the award for not winning awards. The coveted Losey. And Steve Martin is here. So what if he's hosted SNL 15 times. I've hosted my show 509 times! Here's a brain teaser for you: Your brain is ugly. This is the Colbert Report.

    • Stephen Colbert: Finally, Pope Benedict XVI has stirred up a hornets mitre of controversy when he lifted the excommunication of Bishop Richard Williamson, a member of an ultra conservative catholic sect and a holocaust denier. Evidently the bishop believes there is enouh proof that 2000 years ago a man rose from the dead but not enough proof that 60 years ago, the Nazis were pretty bad.

    • Stephen Colbert: Next up, the story of Atlanta real estate developer Fred Milani who is trying to sell a replica of the White House he built in an Atlanta suburb. Why did he build it? According to Milani "I believe it was Jesus' plan". Makes sense, there are crosses all over the front yard. And Jesus has always been a fan of crosses... except that one time.

    • Stephen Colbert: Now, athletes love God, we know that. After all a gatorade dump is just a baptism with electrolytes.

    • Stephen Colbert: Well, folks, I'm still recovering from my superbowl weekend. That seven layer dip had seven layers going in but there were at least nine layers coming out.
