Eddie Cantor is this week's host. His guests include: actresses Connie Russell and Gloria Grahame; The Will Mastin Trio (with Sammy Davis Jr.); The Billy Daniel Dancers; and Al Goodman and his Orchestra. Cantor does a "Maxi the Taxi" sketch with Grahame as his passanger; Cantor and Russell assemble dolls at a toy factory. Songwriter Vincent Youmans is saluted in the finale with fellow composers Dimitri Tiomkin and Ned Washington making cameos. The Mastin Trio does "Hallelujah" with Sammy Davis Jr. soloing on "Carloca". Cantor and Russell perform "Tea for Two", Russell sings "Great Day", Cantor does "Time on My Hands", and a dance production to "More Than You Know".moreless
