It's Valerie's big night as the first episode of her reality show premiers on tv. This episode was not without its laughs, as with the rest of the series and it is a shame that this was to be the final episode of the series, being perhaps one of the strongest. Valerie's reaction to the premier and her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno show just how talented Lisa Kudrow is as a comedy actress, even if at times it is awkward humour. But that's the best kind - stuff you have to watch.
Who knows, perhaps this episode may even be enough one day for Lisa Kudrow's Valerie Cherish to have yet another Comeback?moreless

This one is a revealer of all the raw footage we have been watching since the pilot episode! But i am still so angry that Paulie G not getting what he deserved such as bad reputation on "The Comeback" show.

Anyway, Valerie at least got what she deserved because all the drama she has been going through being trapped between young actors and actresses and hateful people (producers, writers..etc). She is now famous after that notorious double vomitting sequence! She is so adorable on the tonight show with Jay Leno!

But i think the most enjoyable scenes are when she is so pissed because of the edited show and after this, she went after Jane to get some answers handing a cigarette in her hand even though she and Mark quitted 5 years ago.

This one is a keeper that this show must stay on air!moreless

  • What a fantastic end for a brilliant show this can be!

I have been into the Comeback all summer long, and I know that it is a very different show. Many people are turned off by the shows many oddities but I personally found it brilliant. Lisa Kudrow is a brilliant actress and she gives one of the best performances of the summer in this show. This episode is the show at its best. It was hilarious and brought everything I had been watching all summer toghether nicely. We watched "raw" reality footage all summer and we finally got to see how it was edited. The parody of reality tv is dead on! A fantastic show for a underappreciated series. I hope there is a season 2!moreless

    ADD TRIVIA
    • This show was two episodes short of meeting syndication requirements. Had this show been syndicated, it would have most likely aired on TBS or Comedy Central, and would have been edited for content (nudity) and language. Edit
    • In a bit of irony Lisa Kudrow's failed show The Comeback was also a failed comeback for her as well. Many TV critics were quick to point out the irony in their reviews of the show. Edit
  • Notes

    ADD NOTES
    • Featured music: "Cherish" by The Association Edit
    • The episode originally featured a subplot involving Juna dating Colin Farrell and inviting him to Val's party. The story getting cut out would explain Juna's absence from the episode (she's only shown briefly sitting next to Jesse at the party). Edit
    • The episode title refers to the pilot in which Valerie mentions her early '90s appearance on "The Tonight Show" (when a monkey pooed on her head) and called it a classic water-cooler moment. Edit
