Show Summary

The Comedy Shop, also known as "Norm Crosby's Comedy Shop," aired nationally from 1978 to 1981. It was hosted by standup comedian Norm Crosby. Produced by Perry Rosemond ("Fraggle Rock," "Donny and Marie"), "The Comedy Shop" showcased some of the best up-and-coming comedic acts of the day. The comedian Brad Garrett ("Everybody Loves Raymond," "Night at the Museum") made his first TV appearance on the show and Nathan Lane appeared as part of the duo "Stack & Lane" along with Patrick Stack.
