  • I haven't given The Cook and the Chef a ten because I am yet to see a perfect television show but for me this is pretty close.

It has food so what is not to like! Everyone loves food! The two presenters/hosts are friendly, likeable and know what they are talking about. Unlike many cooking shows they are not over the top and dont rely on 'sex appeal' to make up for lacklustre programming which really impresses me.

As a South Aussie girl myself the fact that they use local produce really impresses me. I like the stories with the local producers and enjoy that they share a bit of themselves with the audience. If your a cooking buff, you like food or need you need some new ideas to spruce up your meals give this a whirl...unpretentious, good Aussie food!moreless
