The Coral Jungle is a documentary series which originally aired in 1976.
The series, hosted by Leonard Nimoy, is an in-depth study of the Great
Barrier Reef and the creatures who inhabit it. Each episode focuses on a
different aspect of reef life both above and below the water. Segment
topics included: sea snakes, sharks, pelicans, shipwrecks and more. The
Queensland Australia Park Service was consulted for scientific accuracy.
Underwater segments were filmed by Ben and Eva Crop. Thirteen episodes
aired in all.
