At one point, Lisa Bonet slips and says, "Paula! I want you to meet Olivia's mother."
No, she says "This is Paula. This is Olivia's mother."
Maybe she had just enough eggs to make the eggnog, but not the cornbread...
Clair pitches a huge fit about needing nutmeg for eggnog, then mentions they need eggs for cornbread. Has she forgotten that eggs are needed to make eggnog, too? That's why it's called EGG nog! How big a batch of cornbread is she making if she needs the entire dozen eggs to do so, which is the way she's making it sound? I use maybe one or two when I mix a box of cornbread mix together, and that usually makes a pan of 12-16 slices.
When Cliff returns from the store for about the fourth time and the eggs and tomatoes fall out of the soggy wet bag onto the floor, why aren't the eggs in a carton? The bottom of the bag drops out, so the carton can't be in the bag.
(Cliff has spent the entire day going back and forth to the store in the rain. Russell starts to say Grace before the meal.)
Russell: Heavenly Father...
Cliff: You got that right!
This episode includes the final appearance of Marcella Lowrey and Dennis Scott as Francine and Lester Tibideaux, Elvin's parents.
Denise mentions to Paula on the phone that they live on 10 Stigwood Avenue in Brooklyn Heights, NY.
