Never should have brought Pam, the show jumped the shark

    I agree, when Pam came into the show, it went downhill. Pam and her friends, in my opinion, just didn't really fit in with the other characters of The Cosby Show. They just seemed to not mesh well into the house.

    I don't know if was her or not but I really disliked seasons 7 and 8. I'd probably still buy it on DVD to complete my set when those two seasons come out but I would say 75% of the episodes with Pam in it I didn't like.

    I thought Pam was kinda boring but I actually liked Lance and Charmaine. I don't think they ruined the show. Didn't help it much entirely though either.

    For me it was Olivia. But i think they added her because Rudy lost her "cuteness" as she became older. I really like Rudy as a little girl but Olivia was ANNOYING!

    I actually thought Rudy got cuter as she got older. As recent photos of her now show, puberty was her best friend!

    The only reason Pam & her friends was created, so that the show will try to get the attention of the younger viewers away from 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-air'. Olivia was just a wasted character.

    i think olivia was super, super super.
    Pam's character, I agree, esp Charmaine, SHE was annoying- that is why i never watched "a different world" after..horrible..

    But The woman playing Pam, she can be seen on prime TV now, cant she? she is doing well?
    and SO is Raven (olivia), so they must have something.

    Rudy just overplayed in the last seasons...

    The show jumped the shark when Olivia joined the cast. She is by far the most annoying character in television history. When Pam came on to the show, it had already jumped. I actually didn't mind Pam and her friends, but the show as a whole had slipped a lot.

    Pre-Olivia, The Cosby Show is incredible.

    Pam, Lance and Charmaine did'nt bother me either. I thought Olivia was cute and to me it seemed Olivia had more things to do and say compared to when Rudy was that age.

    I can not stand Olivia, the whole "five going on thirty" thing is annoying. Rudy was so much more believable when she was that age.

    I am really beginning to dislike kids in the media as it is, and Olivia is one of the biggest reasons why. The only episode where she had significant screen time that I actually found her cute in, was the one where she was trying to explain the concept of the stork to Cliff.
